Responsibilities:
  • Perform outside representation for NGK/NTK products
  • Support National and Key Account Team as necessary with assigned tasks and special projects
  • Responsible for serving existing accounts and maintaining the relationships.
  • Work with National, Key Account and/or Business Intelligence Team to align customer inventory with marketplace
  • Support and provide feedback on promotions in assigned territory
  • Promote Product and Technical training events, to include working with Technical Training Dept in scheduling new events
  • Provide technical knowledge to customers when needed.
  • Provide feedback to Marketing Team on key findings that helps provide us an opportunity to increase sales and brand awareness
  • Continuously train counter persons on NGK/NTK products to ensure their technical knowledge is current and they are capable to promote NGK/NTK product to end users.
  • Continuously train shop owners and technicians to ensure their technical knowledge of NGK products is current and they are able to promote NGK/NTK products to their customers.
  • Update automotive repair shops, jobbers, WD’s, and Retailers when new products or product lines are launched
  • Cultivate new customers; introduce them to NGK/NTK products; and show them the benefits of selling NGK products.
  • Participate at trade shows; this includes setting up booths, handing out promotional materials, and answering questions concerning NGK/NTK products.
  • Complete various reports and other associated paperwork including weekly call logs.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures including IATF16949 and J-SOX related policies as applicable.

Pay Scale:
  • In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for the position is $60,500-$72,600, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.
