Hyundai Express Service Technician
Bill Marsh Hyundai is now hiring an Express Service Technicians.
The Express Service Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and some repairs while applying proficient skills in communication, leadership, and some technical aptitude. This is a Full-Time position, and is a great way to career-path higher paying technician positions at Bill Marsh.
Job Responsibilities Conducting visual inspections on vehicles and completing a multi-point inspection form
Performing a wide range of maintenance and minor repair up to 1.5 hours in duration including but not limited to LOFR's, Fuel filters, Tires, Recalls, bulbs, belts, batteries, and inspections
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Communicating effectively with the Express Service advisor, Service Manager, and customers
Maintaining shop equipment, storage, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition
Using power tools like pneumatic wrenches in order to remove bolts easily and quickly
Using common hand tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers, to work on small-scale parts
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
Willingness to learn and grow as a technician
Job Requirements
Possess a Valid Driver's License
Have the willingness to possess State of Michigan certification in the skill areas of brakes and steering and suspension
Be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Possess a High school diploma, GED, or degree in automotive service technology-related field from an accredited institution
