The Project: SMEC Operations in South Asia and Central Asia is looking for the following international positions that is being required for the Hydropower Project Construction Supervision proposal submission

Team Leader:

• Minimum master's degree in the field of Hydropower Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Water Resources or Structural Engineering with graduate degree in Civil Engineering or Hydropower Engineering
• 20 Years General Experience
• 15 years of specific experience in the field of project management, design and construction supervision of hydropower projects involving in headworks, dam, underground work, intakes, surge shaft, penstock, powerhouse and related structures
• Experience as Team Leader in construction Supervision of at least one hydropower project of minimum capacity of 100 MW and should have involve in design of at least one hydropower project having installed capacity of 100 MW.

Hydropower Engineer:

• Minimum master's degree in the field of Hydropower Engineering, or Water Resources with graduate degree in Civil Engineering or Hydropower Engineering
• 15 years of specific experience in the field of project design and construction supervision of hydropower projects involving headworks, dam, underground work, intakes, surge shaft, penstock, powerhouse and related structures
• Experience as a Hydropower Engineer in design and construction supervision of at least one hydropower project of minimum capacity of 100MW

Structural Engineer:

• Minimum master’s degree in the field of Structural engineering with graduate degree in field of civil engineering
• Minimum 15 years of specific experience in the field of design of structural design of hydropower/ water resources projects involving dam, headworks, underground work, tunnel linings, intakes, settling basin, headpond and related structures
• Experience as a structural design engineer in detailed design of hydropower projects of minimum capacity of 100MW

Geotechnical/ Tunnel Engineer:

• Minimum a master degree in geotechnical engineering with bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Minimum 15 years of specific experience in the field of geological investigations, design and construction supervision of hydropower or water resources projects and/or underground projects involving headworks, underground caverns, tunnels, shafts etc. He/she should preferably have an experience as a tunnel engineer in design and/ or construction supervision of minimum 5 km hydropower tunnel
• Experience as a geotechnical engineer in detailed design and/or construction supervision of hydropower projects of minimum capacity of 100MW

Electro-Mechanical Engineer:

• Minimum master's degree in the field of Electrical Engineering with graduate degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 15 years’ specific experience in the field of design of powerhouse electrical design and sub-station design
• Experience as a Electro-Mechanical Engineer in detailed design and/or construction supervision of Hydropower projects of minimum capacity of 100MW

Hydro-Mechanical Engineer:

• Minimum master's degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering with graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 15 years’ specific experience in the field of design of hydro-mechanical, penstock design, gates design and powerhouse mechanical design
• Experience as a Hydro-Mechanical Engineer in detailed design and/or construction of hydropower projects of minimum capacity of 100MW

Contract /Claim Expert:

• Qualifications of Civil Engineer with Master's degree in engineering or construction management
• General experience of minimum 15 years specific experience in Hydropower projects
• Worked as Contract Claim Expert at least one hydropower project of minimum capacity of 100MW
