We are looking for a Human Resource Specialist to add to our current team who wants to work for a growing company with lots of potential for growth.

Responsibilities: Reviews and verifies weekly timecards for accuracy for 185 employees. (growing weekly) Pulls hours from system and imports them into payroll system. Sends temp hours to staffing agencies weekly. Verifies for accuracy weekly staffing agency invoices and puts them into accounting systems. Updates employment records as needed. Responds to managers regarding employment requests. Administers and maintains company benefits programs, including but not limited to health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability, and FSA. Processes FMLA paperwork as needed. Helps with on-boarding of new full-time hires and processes new benefit paperwork. Helps with recruiting needs for all 4 companies as needed, which includes reviewing resumes, making first phone screening calls, doing background screening, scheduling second on-site interviews and testing applicants. Helps with tracking of applicant hiring. Other duties as assigned. Follows all processing procedures, adheres to polices, and maintains strict confidentiality.

Experience:

2 years experience in Human Resource Admin type role preferred. Experience maintaining excel spreadsheets a must. Excellent communication skills with both internal and external emails, phone calls, and in person communications. Needs to be able to multitask in face paced department. Preferred experience with multi company payrolls and administration of benefit programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
