Redstone Foods, Inc. is the largest confectionery wholesaler in the Southwest. This family owned and operated business has been delivering a sweet experience to its customers since 1966. Redstone Foods, Inc. has experienced tremendous growth in our customer base and staff over the past 5 years. We are looking for a driven, self-motivated professional to join our team working for a dynamic company in a fast-paced environment. This position will take a hands-on approach to managing HR work throughout the entire employee lift cycle – from recruiting and onboarding to facilitating disciplinary action and separation. In addition to the day-to-day HR responsibilities, this position will also work closely with management in a variety of ways to support operations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer payroll weekly and track employee attendance
• Recruit, interview and hire applicants to fill open positions
• On-board all new hires with paperwork, benefits and training, etc.
• Administer employee benefits and assist employees to sign up for benefits
• Daily communication with operations on employee situations and disciplinary actions
• Working with management on employee recognition programs
• Focus on making our company a preferred employer and a great place to work. This includes leading an employee committee focused on work environment.
• Help improve current processes to be more efficient as the company grows
• Other office duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills

• Exceptional people and conflict resolution skills
• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum of 5 years of prior HR experience required (PHR certification preferred)
• Must have HR experience staffing and supporting front line staff
• This position cannot be performed remotely
• Flexible to start early to support employees across multiple shifts. The most likely need is to occasionally start at 7 AM.
• Must be local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
