We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist for a growing culinary and beverage company comprised of 5 popular restaurants and bars in NYC. this position will report into Manager of People & Culture. This is a 5 Day a week ON SITE Position in Mid Town NYC. **This position requires restaurant and or hospitality HR experience.

This person will be responsible for providing a broad range of support services within the Human Resources department - ensuring that employees, processes, programs, and policies are aligned to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities:

Onboarding & offboarding, company-wide compliance, company-wide payroll processing, Benefits, new hire orientations, HR policy development and general training support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
• Must have prior experience working in Hospitably and/or Restaurant industry
• 3+ 4years' of experience working in Human Resources
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in both written and spoken English; Preferred basic proficiency in spoken Spanish.
• Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously and for extended periods as required to perform job functions.
• Ability to perform essential job functions under pressure, maintain professionalism when working under stress.
• Maintain general knowledge of company history, concept, location, transportation, Management team, etc.
• Attend mandatory meetings including leadership meetings, staff meetings, etc.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all internal and personnel affairs.
• Prioritize and multitask for efficient and effective work production, including managing expectations of multiple stakeholders at all levels within, and outside, the HR team at one time
• Able to show initiative, be proactive and to learn and adapt to new systems.
• Able to work effectively in a culturally and educationally diverse environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
