Job description
Creative Business Innovations has an HR Generalist position open with a client in Dublin, OH. This position is direct hire with the client company (automotive assembly) at their corporate office.
Scope and Purpose of Position
Responsible for administering generalist functions of a corporate HR department.
Tasks of the Position
- Perform HR employee relations activities for corporate employees such as new hire orientation, time off processing, answering payroll questions, etc.
- Administer payroll, benefits, and FMLA functions to ensure implemented appropriately and lawfully
- Conduct market surveys on subjects like compensation, benefits, etc.
- Recruit for corporate positions to ensure fully staffed.
- Act as a resource for corporate associates for employment policy.
- Conduct investigations.
- Provide KPI data to identify and address performance within the HR department at the corporate level.
- Make informed decisions daily and communicate on associate relations issues at the corporate office.
- Communicate with plant HR to ensure standardization and work together on HR items.
- Manage the facilitation of critical activities to improve associate engagement.
- Communicate critical items to the HR Manager.
- Travel within US as requested by HR Manager possible.
- Any and all other duties as required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of payroll, benefits, FMLA, and employment law
- Ability to use informed judgement to make critical decisions
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Ability to deal with problems involving complex and confidential situations and exercise professional judgment at all times
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills to compose and/or edit written materials.
- Ability to establish constructive working relationships with customers and colleagues
- Stays informed of current practice developments within the profession, and uses educational and training opportunities to ensure continual professional competence.
- Possesses organizational, priority/time management, problem solving, and conflict resolution

Qualification (Education / Training)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college required; preferable in human resources or related field.
- 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
- Experience as an HR Generalist/Specialist preferred.
- Recruiting experience preferred.
- Manufacturing HR experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
