The Human Resource Manager will provide comprehensive support and administration of all functions within human resources, talent acquisition, payroll, and benefit administration. This is a full-time position that will report to the Corporate Controller. This position will be based out of Atlanta, GA, but may be performed remotely once established.

We are a fun, fast-paced environment within the movie and television space. The HR Manager position will be new, and the right candidate will have the opportunity to build from the ground up and grow with the company.

Essential Duties

  • Develop, implement, and manage employee services such as payroll and benefits administration.
  • Maintain employee relations and support management with employee performance issues, which may include assessments, investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary action, etc.
  • Collaborate with management to develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures.
  • Manage all HRIS related activities, maintain department records, and ensure data/reporting accuracy, including organizational and structural charts and employee files.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to create and maintain job descriptions, as well as onboarding and performance management processes.
  • Implementation and management of HRIS system(s), both in the United States, UK, and future international sites.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as HR best practices.
  • Identify and communicate risks, issues, or process shortfalls, as well as develop potential solutions and recommended actions.
  • Additional ad hoc projects, reporting, and tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher.
  • 5+ years of Human Resource and Management experience.
  • SHRM certification preferred.
  • HR generalist.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of knowledge regarding employment laws (e.g. SHRM guidelines, FLSA, DOL and EEOC regulations), regulatory compliance, and HR best practices in areas such as compensation and benefits administration, workforce planning, recruiting and onboarding, training and development, performance management, etc.
  • Highest levels of professionalism, confidentiality, judgement, and discretion.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with international payroll and employment matters preferred, but not required.
  • Experience working in a fast pace, high-growth company.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
