HR Manager

Reporting to the VP of People, the HR/People Manager will work with the Benefits Manager and VP of People in day-to-day support of team members and managers while ensuring restaurants operate within all local, state and corporate regulations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, a problem-solver and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensures proper onboarding of all hourly and salaried team members in a timely fashion.
• Assists and advises field management on Human Resource issues.
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• HR Systems and Data Management works closely with payroll and benefits managers to ensure that effective HR systems are in place.
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards andguidelines, etc.
• Proposes improvements to implement for existing programs and processes.
• Strong and effective verbal/written communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Effective team player and partner, and demonstration of an immediate sense of urgency, as well as flexibility while remaining resilient.

Requirements:

• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience in hospitality.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of human resources functional areas; demonstrated. competencies in HR knowledge and skill in implementing effective HR programs, policies and services to support the organization's objectives.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
• Advanced level in Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, formulas).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to multi-task.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate.
• Paylocity HRIS knowledge is a plus.
