Posting Summary
Serve as HR Administrator to oversee and provide leadership in human resource management for Academic Departments which consist of Faculty (85+/-), Part-time Faculty (30+/-), Post Docs (20+/-), Graduate Assistants (75+/-), Staff (60+/-), and temps (180+/-) within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Provide counsel on and collaborate about HR strategies with leadership, department administrators and central HR. Serve as the HR representative for the College at the University level. Reports to the Assistant Dean for Finance and Administration in the Dean’s Office.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or Educational Administration and two years of related human resources experience. Familiarity and experience with principles of labor relations, fair labor standards act, family and medical leave act and other HR rules and regulations. Experience with developing and maintaining information systems, managing and coordinating complex projects, high degree of attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
