RCA Healthcare Management is seeking a pool Housekeeper / Laundry Aide to support our facilities located throughout New York State which includes Allegany, East Aurora, Gasport, Orchard Park, Painted Post and Westfield.

ABOUT US:
Absolut Care is comprised of 6 senior living facilities located throughout New York State which includes five skilled nursing facilities and one assisted living facility. Our facilities are located in Allegany, East Aurora, Gasport, Orchard Park, Painted Post and Westfield. We offer a variety of services including subacute rehab, long-term care, and hospice.

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• High degree of personal hygiene required
• Position-related experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand work assignments, as well as report verbally and provide written documentation as necessary
• Respect for residents’ privacy and rights; display of genuine concern and empathy for the elderly
• Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness and kindness
• Qualities of responsibility, diplomacy and ability to work well with fellow staff members

Responsibilities:

• Performing basic housekeeping support procedures for residents as required by assisting in maintaining a clean and attractive environment for both residents and families
• Clean patient rooms, offices and common areas using cleaning chemicals and disinfectants as well as both interior and exterior facility areas
• Clean and sanitize floors, equipment and furniture according to infection-control policies
• Operate various types of cleaning equipment
• Handle and dispose of waste using standard procedures
• Clean mattresses and beds according to established procedures
• Maintaining and organizing cleaning supplies
