Job description
Sanctuary Treatment Center is currently hiring a Housekeeping Aid for multiple locations across the San Fernando Valley! This is a Full Time position.
Summary: The Housekeeping Aide performs day-to-day housekeeping services ensuring a clean, attractive facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and DHCS standards.

Location: Tarzana/Encino
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day housekeeping duties including: dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing, and mopping.
- Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
- Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.
- Identifies and reports any hazards or potential safety concerns.
- Adheres to facilities confidentiality policies & procedures.
- Maintain professional relationships with the staff, residents, families, and visitors.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Monitors Supply inventory and fills supplies requisition requests.
- Maintain knowledge of job functions within the organization.
- Maintain a consistent and open channel of communication with the Program Director and staff on duty. Performs any other duties as needed.
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of patients
- Must demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment

Pre-Employment Requirements
- Hiring is contingent upon completion of a TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical. Clean driving record and current first aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
