PSE's Policy & Energy Supply team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Housekeeper/Rec Svc Attend position!

Job Description
Performs general housekeeping and light janitorial duties at various facility locations. Duties include kitchen, and catering as needed, with an emphasis on customer service and safety; and interfacing with PSE staff, crews and the general public. Hours will vary and depend upon lodge occupancy and need.
Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.
Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.
This position is for a Casual Employee. A Casual Employee cannot work more than 30 days out of 60 calendar days and not exceed 1000 hours a year. Additionally, this position does not include benefits, including Paid Time Off (PTO).
Job Responsibilities
- Performs housekeeping and light janitorial duties: cleans and maintains lodge and office facilities, including kitchen facilities, crew quarters, shop and superintendent houses as directed. Performs inventory, orders and replenishes cleaning supplies as needed.
- Performs kitchen and catering duties: sets menus, prepares meals and provides catering services for private and company events. Performs inventory, orders and replenishes kitchen and/or food supplies as needed.
- May be asked to act in a chef capacity during catering events/functions and in this role, may need to direct staff activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- 1 year prior customer service or related experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Upon hire, will be required to obtain a Department of Health card.
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous housekeeping and/or janitorial experience.
- Previous food preparation and/or catering experience.
- Previous customer service experience.
