    About the Position
    Hourly Field Technicians are needed to assist tech support team in providing technical PC and Chromebook hardware, software, and basic networking support to our students and staff. Hours available are variable, based on designated projects and are subject to change. Generally, staff in these positions work within the hours of 8AM and 4PM, Monday thru Friday, though there is some potential for schedule flexibility. There is not a guarantee of hours in between projects.


    Required Qualifications
    • Must be 18+ years old.
    • Required to travel to and from various District sites and residence within the Edmonds School District and surrounding areas to provide technical support.
    • Required to use your own vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
    • Physical ability to bend, stoop, twist, and work in and around tight spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
    • Ability to diagnose and solve basic technology issues.
    • Required to consistently follow all CDC, Health District, and ESD guidelines regarding social distancing and PPE.

    * Per Governor Jay Inslee's proclamation, all school district employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption. All new hires will be required to provide verification of vaccination or be eligible for an exemption, as a condition of employment.

    Preferred Qualifications: Able to speak multiple languages.

    Salary
    $21.00 per hour
    Shift Details

    • From 8am -4pm ;Monday - Friday


    * This is an hourly/extra duty position with no contract.

    Benefits - This position, by itself, will not qualify for benefits provided by the School Employee Benefits Board (SEBB).
