The Holiday Inn Express hotel located in Jacksonville Beach is looking for hotel housekeepers that can clean rooms to guest's satisfaction.

Position Summary

A Room Attendant / Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum & sweep floors & Mop as needed
• Prior hotel housekeeping experience is a plus
• Dusting and cleaning room decorations, appliances, and structural surfaces (e.g. wall fixtures, window sills, vents, etc.)
• Changing linen and making beds
• Cleaning showers, tubs, sinks, and bathroom items
• Remove used & Replenish guest amenities and trash
• Inspecting rooms for safety hazards & report it to maintenance
• Completing assigned deep-cleaning projects
• Reporting lost and found articles, maintenance problems, or special room problems (e.g. pets in the room) to a supervisor
• Maintaining storage rooms and stocking carts
• Strong initiative and work ethic - Punctual, reliable, and regular attendance with a strong attention to detail

• Customer-service oriented and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

We offer excellent starting pay and after the 90 days of the probationary period we will give you an increase based on punctuality, tardiness, team player and the quality of our daily room inspections.
