Double Barrel Steak by David Burke casual upscale restaurant located at the Preserve Sporting Club and Residence. We are seeking a host/hostess to add to our team.

The host stand is the first impression guests have when they enter the restaurant. The greeting and hospitality they receive sets the tone for their experience which is about how they feel as much as what they eat and drink. If you are friendly, happy, upbeat, comfortable engaging with a large number of people on a daily basis, and are looking to become part of an exciting, growing team, we'd love to speak further. If you have previous restaurant experience, that's great. If not, that's great too as long as you are reliable, responsible, can think on your feet and are dedicated to providing top-notch guest service and quality work. The hard skills can be taught and learned, it's the kindness, empathy and willingness to learn that will set you apart.

Responsibilities including, among others:

- greeting and seating guests

- consistently answering phones/checking voice mails/returning guest calls

- setting up reservations

- ensuring host stand is properly stocked with appropriate menus and other necessary materials

- putting the guest needs and experience first

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Physical setting:

• Upscale casual restaurant

• Day shift
• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Richmond, RI 02898: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
