It's Just Better Here! Graham Healthcare Group is seeking a Billing Manager who assists in the direction and coordination of all activities of the Agency. He/she functions under the direction of the Agency Administrator.

Hospice Billing Manager Responsibilities

• Advises Agency Administrator in community needs and recommends appropriate changes in staffing, budgets, policies, or programs to meet those needs.

• Oversees maintenance of accurate record system, evaluates effectiveness of programs and recommends appropriate modifications.

• Oversees staffing. Participates in the development of appropriate personnel policies procedure designed to attract, retain and motivate such staff.

• Assists Agency Administrator in selection, orientation, direction and evaluation of staff.

• Participates in short and long range planning based on Agency goals and objectives.

• Promotes an effective system of communication throughout the Agency.

• Implements and monitors effectiveness of quality assurance efforts within Agency.

• Assists in preparation of budget.

• Implements policies dealing with financial controls, billing procedures, cost determination, fee setting and financial reporting.

• Directs, coordinates patient billing, accounts receivable functions and reporting systems.

• Represents Agency in community and/or health care groups, local, and regional.

• Maintains and enhances professional expertise through education/organizational activities.

• Keeps abreast of third party payer regulations pertaining to services covered and billing procedures.

Hospice Billing Manager Requirements

• Must be detail-oriented and self-directed

• Good problem-solver with analytical skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Good problem solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

• Proficient in Medicare Billing System (FISS)

• Proficient in third party clearinghouses (Waystar and eSolutions preferred)
