OVERVIEW:

Homeward Alliance is a Fort Collins-based nonprofit that provides a continuum of services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. In addition to ten programs, Homeward Alliance is also the manager/overseer of the Murphy Center for Hope, a resource center for people experiencing or at-risk of homelessness in Larimer County.

This position is a part of the HMIS Lead Team for Northern Colorado’s Continuum of Care. They will report to the HMIS Manager.

This is a part-time, hourly position. $23-$27/hour DOE

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

General

• Provide support to end users by assisting with troubleshooting, responding to help desk tickets, running reports, etc.
• Develop trainings for end users, following the HUD HMIS Data Standards Manual
• Participate in agency compliance monitoring as needed
• Participate in local, state, and national-level HMIS meetings and training as needed
• Serve and participate in agency, team and NoCo CoC meetings, committees, community activities and outreach events as needed
• Provide administrative support to the HMIS team as needed

Data Management

• Generate and send monthly data quality and timeliness reports to agencies and follow-up with agencies to ensure that identified issues are corrected
• Assist in producing quarterly, and annual quantitative reports to provide program monitoring and outcome information.
• Conduct quality assurance within the system, which could include entering/correcting data
• Create custom reports, utilizing the Clarity System, Looker and Tableau, as needed
• Assist with report preparation for local, state and national submissions such as the LSA, SPM, HIC and PIT
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
• Flexibility to manage an assortment of tasks and readiness for ever-changing priorities
• Self-motivated, able to prioritize, bring ideas to the table, and meet deadlines
• Ability to work both as a team player and independently with limited supervision
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse workforce
• Methodological expertise in data quality assurance and control; and ingenuity to reach outcomes using alternative paths when necessary
• A strong work ethic, integrity, and the highest ethical standards are expected
• Creative problem-solving skills and patience are required
• Clarity Software and knowledge of HMIS preferred
