Job Title: EMT-B, AEMT, Paramedics

24 hr shifts in Palestine, Texas

*EMT-P: up to $23.00/hr*

*EMT-B/AEMT up to $17.00/hr*

*Qualified Applicants should have:*
* Must be 23 years or older for Insurance purposes
* Current & valid DSHS EMT-P certification
* Valid Texas Drivers License
* Additional certifications a plus (ACLS, PALS, ITLS)

General expectations for these positions include:
* EMT - Paramedics will perform various duties and provide patient care.

* Respond to inter-facility transports and non-emergent transports

* Access patient status, make critical care decisions quickly

* Collection and reporting of patient care data based on state guidelines

* Maintaining inventory of medical supplies to ensure readiness of response vehicles
* Maintain Professionalism throughout

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees are required to wear face mask (at minimum) when entering any facility and duration of patient contact. Bayou City EMS provides all employee PPE.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• EMS: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification, ALS Certification, PALS Certification (Preferred)
• EMT, AEMT, or EMT-P Texas Certification (Required)
