Job Description:

This position is key to the controls development process within the Mechatronics team and expected to

be the primary resource for prototype software validation on the hardware-in-loop (HIL) bench.

Typical Day:

• Hardware in loop (HIL) bench setup and maintenance.
• Prototype software building.
• Verification plan definition and test prep.
• Verification testing execution on HIL bench.
• Results summary and presentation.
• HIL setup and software debugging / troubleshooting.
• Calibrate control systems on bench environment.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering with focus in electrical/electronic control systems or embedded systems.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience (internship experience may be considered).

Technical Skills Required:

• Expertise in engineering tools like Matlab, Simulink, Vector tools (Canapé, CANalyzer etc.); Python Scripting.
• Experience with HIL software validation (dSPACE).

(Desired but not Required)

• Experience with wiring harness builds.
• Engine system knowledge.
• Experience with calibration of closed loop control systems.
