SUMMARY:

This position includes operating the high lift to retrieve product in slots in the warehouse. Must be able to operate a high lift and learn all necessary duties related to stocking and retrieval of products from the warehouse racking and locator system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fill pick slots from reserve and other locations
• Put away pallets of product from receiving
• Pick orders
• Load trucks
• Do all necessary paperwork for the safe operation of equipment and product movement in the computer system.
• Other tasks/duties, as needed
• Always keep work environment clean
• Perform other tasks as requested
• Help fellow employees as needed
• Willing to be cross trained

REQUIREMENTS:

• Have experience or working knowledge of processing equipment operation, processing specifications, and labeling requirements
• Must also have basic knowledge of mathematics and calculations relating to the production
• Bilingual and be able to complete required paperwork (productivity reports and other miscellaneous paperwork)
• Capable of regularly lifting and /or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to work on production floor; a wet, cold, and loud environment
• Previous food manufacturing experience a plus
• Work in 20 to 40 degrees
• Must be Pallet Jack certified (or able to become certified within one week)
