Description/Comment:

• Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems.
• Diagnoses, identifies, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records.
• May route calls to product line specialists.
• Maintains and updates records and tracking databases.
• Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.
• AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 0 years experience

Equivalency:

• Associate’s Degree and 0 years of experience.
• A relevant professional certification can be substituted for an Associate's Degree.

Special Requirements

• **100% remote for Local candidates ONLY.
• Resource is expected to come onsite on Day 1 for a meet and greet and to pick up equipment**
• Prior Service Desk Support Experience.
• Good Working knowledge of Windows and MS Office suite would be a plus.
• To Record, maintains and updates records in our ticketing system.
• Perform quick analysis of the issue, document and assist with corrective action to restore functionality, if possible.
• Flexible and available- The Service Desk provides 7x24x365 support including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $13.36 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Service Desk Support: 1 year (Preferred)
• Working knowledge of Windows and MS Office suite: 1 year (Preferred)
• The Service Desk provides 7x24x365 support: 1 year (Preferred)
