CAI is seeking a Help Desk Warehouse Consultant who has experience assisting in all logistical functions for handling of IT equipment including receiving, inventory, warehousing, and distribution. This is an onsite contract position based in Trenton, NJ, working hours include Monday-Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm.

We are seeking a highly motivated, and detail-oriented IT professional to join our team in Trenton, NJ. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology, long-term stability, and great work/life balance. You will be responsible for assisting in all logistical functions for handling of IT equipment including receiving, inventory, warehousing, and distribution.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist in all logistical functions for handling of IT equipment including receiving, inventory, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Process surplus/obsolete desktop & laptop PCs and printers by removing hard drives and staging for disposal.
  • Assist in preparing and validating inventory for distribution/delivery and in loading vehicles.
  • Assist in transporting and delivering IT equipment statewide within New Jersey.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Experience assisting in conducting equipment inventory and in checking/confirming received equipment orders-2 years of experience.
  • Experience in lifting and moving up to 50lbs to assist in picking, moving, and loading IT equipment for delivery- 2 years of experience.
  • Experience assisting in the processing and handling of obsolete IT hardware for disposal- 2 years of experience.
  • An associate degree in any field from an accredited college or university- Required.

Desired Education and Experience:

  • Experience with State Government

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50lbs.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
