Healthcare IT Sales Representative (SaaS)

AEGIS.net, Inc. an IT Services firm in Rockville, MD is looking to expand their Health IT team by adding a SaaS Sales Representative. A growing need to address Interoperability has seen the HL7® Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®) standard scene explode with implementations to support initiatives like the 21st Century Cures Act, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MISSION ACT, along with many others.

Organizations implementing or integrating FHIR need to objectively measure conformance to the FHIR standard and compliance with regulatory policy. Touchstone (https://www.touchstone.com), our cloud-hosted platform for validating FHIR conformance, is the global market leader, backed by a team of Health IT experts with decades of experience creating and validating healthcare system standards. Using Touchstone, Health IT vendors and healthcare delivery organizations are able to “Implement once, with infinite integrations”sm.

We are seeking SaaS Sales professionals with the following qualifications:

  • Only applicants that demonstrate a steady employment record, proven accomplishments, and an ability to build a viable book of business will be considered qualified
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Healthcare Interoperability, Standards Development Organization and challenges facing the industry today.
  • Proven access to healthcare SaaS decision-makers
  • Ability to develop and manage sales tactics and strategies
  • Demonstrable sales success consistently (over) achieving sales quota
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business processes and business in general as well as risk awareness
  • Strong verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to clearly present complex ideas in ways that end-user audiences understand
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Awareness of Health Level Seven (HL7) International Fast Healthcare Interoperable Resources (FHIR) and its role in the industry
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Self-starter and driven
  • Comfortable working in a small/mid-size company
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work within a variety of situations across all levels of management
  • Travel requirements: Minimum of 30% travel expected.

US citizenship is required for this position as well as residing in the USA.

No contractors or independent consultants will be considered for this role.

You will close deals and build a scalable SaaS sales process as you:

  • Introduce solutions that help organizations address Interoperability challenges
  • Meet or exceed the revenue goals for the assigned territory
  • Drive our CRM Software sales bookings in healthcare
  • Develop plans for achieving assigned sales targets
  • Develop and manage a direct sales pipeline
  • Identify strategies and targeted sales campaigns tailored to healthcare industries and decision-makers related to Interoperability
  • Conduct effective demonstrations, write proposals, etc. for prospective accounts
  • Participate in product sales through our Strategic Relationships
  • Attend industry events and user conferences
  • Obtain customer feedback and provide product improvement recommendations
  • Compose and execute client presentations, demos, and proposals
  • Accurately track business development activities and forecast opportunities using CRM software
  • Develop key internal relationships with sales engineering and professional services staff
  • Work closely with the finance and legal functions to facilitate contract negotiations
  • Work collaboratively to share expertise, resources, best practices & market knowledge
  • Support the development of competitive analysis

Travel:

30% Travel - Conferences, Industry Events, and Customer meetings (as needed)
