Plant Health Care Specialist/Technician

Mayer Tree Service is looking for an exceptional career-minded person to join us in becoming a key member of our plant health care team.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in the plant health care industry as well as a passion for tree and shrub care. The ability to identify and differentiate plant species, diagnose and treat insect and disease problems. specific to individual plants A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, a willingness to expand your knowledge, work independently, and excellent customer service skills are also required.

This position offers great potential to learn and expand your career.

The minimum requirements for consideration include:

- 3 – 5 years of experience

- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

- A high school diploma, or equivalent GED

- Good physical condition with the ability to work in all weather conditions.

- A conscientious and reliable nature as well as the ability to work well with others

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Valid Massachusetts core pesticide license
