Head of Dining Hall

The Head of the Dining Hall would be responsible for the following:

  • Work with our Head Chef in making sure that meals for campers and staff are prepared and ready for each appropriate lunch period.
    • Help prepare meals in the morning
    • Make sure that appropriate meals are delivered and provided each lunch.
  • Ensure that water pitchers, and salad bars are consistently stocked and filled.
  • Manage staff that will help serve food, maintain salad bars, fill pitchers and clean areas in-between and after final lunches.
  • Work with Division Leaders to make sure that campers have enough food during each individual lunch.
  • Monitor the eating of food during lunches. Making sure that campers and staff are being appropriate in the portions that they take.
    • Report to Head Chef and Operations Managers if more or less food is eaten than expected.

This is an 8-Week position. Camp begins on June 26th and runs to August 18th. Camp runs Monday through Friday, from 8:30 to 4:00. To work, you must be available for all 8 weeks of camp.
