Job description

We are looking for a well-rounded individual to join our Cultivation team as Head of Cultivation.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Run and manage the cultivation operations including cultivation packaging
• Oversee cultivation tasks and processes from propagation through dry, trim and cure
• Manage systems and processes to ensure plant health and maximize yields
• Manage a team and train new hires
• Manage cultivation staff, schedules, processes, inventory and vendor relations within the state
• Ensure the operation adheres to all state regulatory compliance standards and maintains proper documentation
• Help execute the company’s overall cultivation strategy
• Ensure safety protocols
• Organize harvest (drying, curing, trimming)
• Manage track and trace system as well as maintain keen understanding of local and state regulations
• Manage pest control system

Requirements:

• Extensive experience of a large-scale cultivation operation
• Experience with Fertigation systems
• Knowledge of METRC preferred
• Data analysis and spreadsheet experience
• Experience with LED lighting
• Understanding indoor cultivation operations
• 5 years in cannabis management position preferred
• Expertise in soil, nutrient and plant science
• Experience hiring and training teams in cultivation operations
• Bachelors Degree in horticulture, plant biology, physiology, biological sciences or agricultural sciences preferred
• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
