H2C Securities, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fifth Third Bancorp (collectively “Fifth Third”), a leading healthcare strategic advisory and investment banking firm, is hiring an Analyst for the New York location within the Real Estate Investment Banking team.
The ideal candidate will be a current undergraduate with relevant coursework. Strong analytical skills, the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and attention to detail are required. In addition, this position demands a self-motivated, independent, and resourceful individual capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
Students will acquire on-the-job skills and an understanding of the real-life work environment, while developing a professional network that includes some of the best talent in the industry. Analysts are key members of the client teams and are typically responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple projects. Specific duties include: creating and managing complex financial models; assembling client or prospect presentations; and producing descriptive memoranda. Analysts will work directly with Analyst, Associates and Vice Presidents related to transaction execution and new business development.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a strong financial background, with a graduation date of December 2022 or May 2023
- Minimum 3.0 grade point average
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Understanding of real estate valuation concepts and comparable analysis
- Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and accounting
- Highly organized and extreme attention to detail
- Strong analytical / problem solving skills
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly without formal training period
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage a process from start to finish
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, team-management skills
- Commitment and ability to be a team player
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
