Harry Potter A Forbidden Forest Experience

Morven Park in Leesburg, VA

Calling all wizards, centaurs, and muggles alike to enhance the guest participation of the Harry Potter; A Forbidden Forest Experience. Set in a nighttime woodland trail, guests will explore the sights, sounds, and special effects that create the magic of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies. Additional features of the experience allow guests to be immersed in the Wizarding World, such as, obtaining a personal wand that interacts with magical characters, creating their own spells, and enjoying food and beverages that are well recognized within the village.

We’re looking for a team of individuals who are passionate, hardworking, creative, and energetic to become the guests main point of contact across multiple areas of the experience.

A little more about the role… While the world of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts takes place behind a muggle’s view, we are not requiring you to be an actual character in the world. Your main purpose will be dedicated to your specific position (which will rotate along the trail). All that will be required is simple substitution of modern phrases to those that are more in-line with the experience. This also means it won’t be necessary to have a British accent, nor memorize the entire language of the Wizard World. What’s most important is remembering that you represent the experience, so your position is of major importance. Be polite, pleasant, and excited for the world you will represent. RATE: $22 per hour

LOCATION: Morven Park: 17339 Southern Planter Lane, Leesburg, VA 20176

MEALS: Meals provided while on duty

UNIFORM: Branded uniform provided

ROLE BREAKDOWN

PRESENTER / HOST

● Create a welcoming and interactive environment for guests attending the Forbidden Forest Experience.

● Greet and help orientate a variety of guests maximizing the enjoyment of their experience.

● Provide accurate and relevant information to all guests throughout the route.

● Learn and put on a scripted presentation for the public as they visit your area on the trail.

● Assist fellow staff members in different roles when not performing for the guests.

● Optimize guests' visit by taking on the role with energy and passion.

● Be aware of essential details guests may enquire about regarding the other interactive stops.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Be an energetic bubbly people-person.

● Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays if needed.

● Must have a positive, outgoing, energetic demeanor and be able to maintain a good attitude.

● Must be at least 18 years of age.

● Understands the necessity of keeping guests engaged in a fully immersive, in-world experience.

● Must be willing to undergo a background check.

● Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
