Growth Partners are leaders on the Growth team responsible for the overall growth and attrition metrics of a geography. Growth Partners collaborate deeply with their Ops partners to integrate centrally developed growth and retention programs while capturing and promoting local needs/nuances. Each Growth Partner has overall responsibility for developing and executing an aggressive member growth and retention strategy for their assigned service area, focused primarily on organic growth in existing and contiguous markets. Using new and established relationships with plans, regional agencies and community liaisons, the position will work directly with IPA and Group leaders to create opportunities for expansion and retention. Will partner closely with marketing on data insights and opportunity sizing.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives to formulate and execute on AEP/OEP/SEP strategies across geography drive market-leading growth
  • Develop and lead a team to support member growth and retention activities in region in alignment with centrally developed strategies
  • Collaborate with health plans to develop creative partnerships and market leading growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with local marketing teams to implement cohesive community relationships and targeted digital strategies
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Senior focused agencies to develop comprehensive regional partnerships
  • Collaborate with the regional leaders to support local needs and understand local nuances in support of achieving performance goals
  • Strong understanding of and ability to communicate KPIs, strategic initiatives, and work through challenges in the market
  • Responsible to effectively communicate the strategy and value to existing market leaders and regional leadership
  • Support network design and contracting strategies as needed to support physician alignment with member growth opportunities
  • Work closely with IPA and Group Ops leaders to ensure effective collaboration with field teams and to ensure proper training is in place

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in managed health care, with specific experience in sales, account management, and marketing, and/or member services delivery systems
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, establishing teams, and creating an environment of accountability and success
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters or MBA degree
  • Experience working with Salesforce; Smartsheets

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Ability to work with all levels of management across all functional levels, as well as business partners in other business entities within a larger organization
  • Proven ability to achieve superior results in a performance-oriented environment
  • Solid leadership and strategic planning skills within a matrix environment
  • Proven customer service orientation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and negotiation skills
  • Established positive relationships with healthcare leaders in California to expedite growth
  • Solid business acumen and management experience leading results-oriented teams
  • Demonstrated problem solving, analysis and resolution at strategic and functional levels
  • Ability to deal well with competing priorities and a rapidly changing business environment
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity
