Position Overview

We are seeking a Ground Systems Engineer to join the Infinity Systems Engineering team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support day to day OCX Ground System status check on the OCX ground system at Waterton Canyon.
  • Provide off hour emergency support to ensure system stability.
  • Provide support to GPS launch operations as a Ground System Engineer
  • Follow written GSE products and procedures to maintain health of OCX ground system.
  • Brief management on status of ground system and provide technical expertise for potential fix actions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • DoD work experience with USSF satellite operations and operating system
  • Can independently interpret and follow written technical instructions and procedures, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with government customers and other contractors.
  • Have a technical background in DoD/AF programs and the ability to follow procedural content as required for GSE assignments.
  • Have strong writing, editing, and proof-reading skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills is a must.
  • Must have computer proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Can work quickly and efficiently to meet OCX ground system deadlines.
  • DOD 8570 IAT Level II or Security +

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with U.S. Military Space Systems
  • Previous experience with U.S. Military Operating Systems
  • Familiarity with JIRA

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in an engineering or IT related field (desired), or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. At least 2 years of relevant experience
