Job Summary

The Graduate Architect works with our fully integrated team of architects and interior designers to develop, create, and document the full design package of our award-winning projects. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

· Collaborate with project team to design interior environments for a variety of clients and project design aesthetics

· Perform on-site field verification and measurements to build the project Revit model, utilizing 3D laser scanning technology

· Attend site visits during construction as needed during projects

· Create concepts & designs, select materials and equipment for projects with direction from project manager

· Attend client meetings to understand design need and client preferences

· Maintain current knowledge of trends, products, materials, techniques and other developments in the industry to support design intent

· Construction document production and accuracy

· Develop client presentation materials in a variety of media to assist with conveying design intent

· Technical excellence in Revit and Microsoft Office Suite

· Assists with client communication & customer service requests

· Other duties as assigned

· Support in the creation of Revit content, working within project teams on modeling and drawing production for various projects through all phases of design and construction

· Demonstrate high-level Revit and BIM skills, growth in building and Fair Housing/ADA codes, and other construction details/modeling and techniques to ensure document excellence

· Show expert-level skill in transferring “redlined” changes to updated and complete drawings, incorporating exact measurements, calculations, building codes and other construction details

· Willing and ready to learn, adding knowledge and tools to their “toolbelt”

QUALIFICATIONS

· Knowledge in Commercial, Multi-Family and Senior Living design and project experience preferred

· Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and other 3D modeling software

· Strong knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam Revu

· Basic understanding of ADA and FHA building codes

· Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills

· Ability to come to work with a smile on your face and willingness to have fun

· Collaborative member of a diverse project team

· Ability to travel on behalf of the company

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· College level degree in Architecture

· 2-5 years’ experience in A&D Industry, within commercial or multi-family industries is preferred.

· We are always willing to train and advance individual skills as a part of our team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
