This position will be responsible for leading CSC’s existing Travel Program which includes the current process, policy and tools utilized by company travelers. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of travel management processes and excellent attention to detail. Over the next several years, CSC may strive to integrate various travel programs that exist due to acquisition activity. This role will Project Manage and support our Supplier Management team as the primary business partner as we look to source one program for CSC’s global employee population.

Responsibilities include:

  • Direct the operations of the company’s travel program services
  • Direct the work of travel staff to ensure efficient operation of the travel department
  • Administer and monitor the travel policies, guidelines, and tools to deliver travel arrangements.
  • Represent the Travel Program as the subject matter expert to program participants
  • Maintain trustworthy relationships with travel agencies and suppliers
  • Keep up to date on travel industry and market developments to identify new opportunities
  • Follow up with travelers with out of policy travel practices to ensure requisite education and course correction
  • Maintain excellent traveler service levels, getting hands-on involved as needed when there are issues with our service providers or significant business critical situations that require more active management
  • Counsel employees on all aspects of travel planning and system tools including expensing
  • Suggest improvement and innovation in the travel program

Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Global Travel or Global Travel Program Management environment.
  • Customer Service skills and the ability to adjust communication styles to reflect the audience.
  • Computer savvy with the ability to navigate between systems - Concur (or similar travel software program) proficiency is required.
  • A strong knowledge of the travel industry, including international travel.
  • Ability to think strategically with a perspective of the business beyond current state.
  • Microsoft Office Product Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) experience required.
