JOB TITLE: Global Supply Analyst - Workplace
LOCATION: Fremont, CA (onsite)

SUMMARY:
The Indirect Procurement Supply Chain team is looking to hire a skilled professional to support the sourcing for workplace/ facilities services. This may include culinary services, industrial cleaning services, office equipment, fuel services, etc. across all North America Business Units (Motors, Energy, Solar and Service).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver against business objectives
- Analyze current spend, purchasing trends and evaluate current supplier
- Identify new high potential suppliers to develop sourcing alternatives
- Owner of RFI's, RFP's and RFQ's - ensuring all commercial terms are agreed and documented
- Evaluate supplier business proposals and present recommendations that will result in cost savings, avoidance, or containment
- Drive price negotiations processes to ensure that Tesla's commodity pricing is best in class
- Identify supplier consolidation opportunities that will generate savings
- Drive continual cost reduction and avoidance initiatives through ad hoc price negotiations
- Evaluate and provide guidance on final selection of suppliers
- Develop key performance measures for chosen suppliers and negotiate on multiple variables to award longer-term strategic contracts that result in significant cost reduction and improved service levels
- Ensure NDA, SOW's and Master Purchase Agreement are positioned appropriately before business is initiated
- Monitor current category market conditions, technology roadmaps and identify supply/demand challenges & opportunities
- Manage respective supplier relationships and performance, including but not limited to dispute resolution
- Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve programs with collaboration with business units
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering and/or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of related work experience in Procurement or Consulting (preferable)
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
- Ability to make quick decisions with 80% information
- Willingness to operate in a dynamic environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
