Job description

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients in performing ADLs and personal hygiene such as bathing and daily toileting.
• Assist in orientation to the facility .
• Accompany care team to assist with medical treatment, including doctor visits and testing .
• Administer medications, treatments and IV solutions .
• Monitor vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure and respiratory rate, on a routine basis .
• Provide for the needs of patients in terms of food, comfort and entertainment .
• Monitor patient conditions and report any abnormalities to qualified personnel .
• Provide emotional support by keeping patients informed of their progress and family member activities .
• Restock medical supplies and equipment as necessary .
• Assist in grooming patients, including hair washing/styling or manicures/pedicures, if applicable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Supplemental schedule:

• Holidays
• On call
• Overtime

Weekly schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Catonsville, MD 21228: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
