GME Program Coordinator

Job Summary:

The GME Program Coordinator acts as a liaison between the Program Director, Associate Program Directors, Residents, central GME office, applicants, medical students, and other parties as necessary

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate efforts for seamless onboarding of new trainees
  • Monitor and facilitate activities to ensure that program is in compliance with all GME policies and requirements.
  • Collect data and track appropriately to ensure compliance with requirements from the hospital, the broader CHSLI system, ACGME, AOA, and other administrative and/or accrediting bodies
  • Consistently monitor changes and updates related to accreditation standards and ensure program remains in compliance with all requirements
  • Attend, record, and provide administrative support for Clinical Competency Committees and Program Evaluation Committees, as well as other program-related meetings and/or events
  • Other administrative tasks as necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Minimum of one year of Graduate Medical Education experience
  • Strong critical thinking skills, and ability to research answers and develop solutions independently
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
