General Manager
Salary - $120,000-$150,000 base + bonus

The General Manager is responsible to recruit and coach all team members to build a strong performance based office. This role will support the company goals and strategies of the Company Owned Operations.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Recruit and coach team members, promote teambuilding and engagement in the office
  • Schedule and conduct department and company meetings and weekly GS&R’s with direct reports
  • Coordinate and discuss financial/operational matters on a regular basis with finance personnel and department leads
  • Communicate and collaborate with PDO Holdings operations and accounting leadership on financials/operations of the office
  • Develop a business plan to achieve profitability goals
  • Responsible for expense budget maintenance
  • Monitor bank lines of credit, cash flow, and A/R for overall bank relationship status
  • Review and discuss sales performance with operations manager/department managers and marketing lead
  • Review job reports, WIP, and customer relations with AGM for backlog/contracts signed but jobs not started/flow of WIP/quality control/customer complaints.
  • Discuss and review marketing plans and objectives with Sales lead
  • Attend company marketing and business development events
  • Review plans and needs of the company
  • Review staffing and operational changes needed by departments
  • Participate and lead in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process of A players
  • Responsible for coaching and developing A players with leadership development skills and position development skills
  • Conduct and Complete weekly GS&R meetings with direct reports
  • Complete Goal Setting & Review meetings with direct Manager
  • Participate in monthly GM meetings and required company meetings
  • Implement, follow, and communicate company policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper communication between departments
  • Ensure compliance with Franchise Agreement and Operations Manuals
  • Ensure compliance with third party administrator in respect to insurance guidelines
  • Responsible for maintaining participation on insurance carrier programs
  • Responsible for resolving escalated customer service matters
  • Professionally represent the Paul Davis Restoration principles of honesty and integrity
  • Represent the company’s Vision, Mission, Values and 10 Serving Basics
Competency – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of our main operating systems; RMS and Xactimate
  • Knowledge of the restoration industry
  • Knowledge and ability to read and write mitigation and reconstruction estimates
  • Knowledge of Project Management

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Business Management or related field
  • Five plus years’ experience in a Management role
  • Five plus years’ experience in a Project Management and/or Estimator role
  • Experience with reading and interpreting financial statements
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Five to ten years’ experience in restoration or construction field
  • Sales experience
  • General Contractor’s License
  • Leadership Development Trainings
  • IICRC certifications
Physical Requirement
  • Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about a customer job site (indoors and outdoors)
  • Occasionally ascends and descends a ladder to service customer sites
  • Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents
  • Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone and face to face
  • Occasionally will lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
Travel This position will require up to 25% local travel to jobs sites, trainings, and company events (as needed).
