Seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of Jim Bagan Toyota in beautiful South Lake Tahoe. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the dealership, including sales, customer service, finance, and administration. The General Manager will report directly to the dealership owner and will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing expenses, and ensuring the dealership runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve dealership sales targets and revenue goals.

Manage the dealership's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.

Hire, train, and supervise dealership staff, including sales associates, service technicians, and administrative personnel.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining a strong focus on customer service and addressing any customer concerns or complaints.

Oversee the inventory management of the dealership, including ordering and managing vehicle stock levels.

Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and brand awareness.

Maintain a strong understanding of the automotive industry and Toyota's products and services.

Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, procedures and regulations.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in automotive dealership management, with a

5+ proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful dealership.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and vendors.

Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial reports, manage expenses, and develop budgets.

In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry and Toyota's products and services.
