Position: GCCS-J System Administrator/Integrator
Location: Langley, AFB. VA
Sign on Bonus: $3,000.00
TTC is looking for a GCCS-J Systems Administrator / Integrator to organize, install, and support Government organization's computer systems, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), network segments, intranets, and other data communication systems. This will also include helping architect, design and analyze network models. It will require participation in decisions about buying future hardware or software to upgrade an organization's infrastructure. This position might be called upon to provide technical support to computer users to help solve users' problems. Our team will support AFLCMC / Detachment 12 Kessel Run (KR), the Program Management Office for the Air Operations Center (AOC) Weapon System (WS).
Responsibilities:
- The Global Command & Control System (GCCS) SME shall provide extensive technical knowledge of GCCS software and how it is integrated into the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC). They shall be familiar with GCCS and interfacing components.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
- 10+ years of experience with Air Force Information Technology (IT), Operations Specialist or other experience with the Global Command & Control System.
- 6+ years implementing GCCS support and maintenance procedures
- Extensive experience and technical expertise with GCCS application and capabilities
- Demonstrated capability for oral and written communication with all levels of management for planning and control of projects.
- Active DoD Manual 8570.01 IAT-II (Sec+CE);
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret or higher level clearance if required by the customer (i.e. Top Secret)
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Active US DoD Security Clearance granted within the last 5 years.
- Graduate-level degree in Information Technology or Engineering.
- Experience working in Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) and general understanding of CAOC processes and procedures in support of execution of the Air Tasking Order(ATO) and Airspace Control Order (ACO).
