Position Summary:

As a Gas Station Manager you will entrusted to guide your team members in delivering an exceptional guest experience, operational excellence, and a working environment that promotes engagement and living the Company values making EG America the clear choice for our guest’s every day needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that your team greets all guests in a friendly manner to make them feel welcomed and appreciated - “making it right” for our guests.
  • Demonstrate leadership attributes to include: building and maintaining trust with the store team by setting clear and measurable goals, holding self and others accountable, and communicating frequently and effectively.
  • Build and develop a strong store team by: hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, offering feedback on performance of the team, and leading by example.
  • Achieve operational excellence, utilizing the Company’s Operational objectives, and hit financial objectives. (Sales/expenses to budget, net profit).
  • Manage the overall appearance of the station (inside and out) ensuring that the location is clean and welcoming to our guests, delegating and directing team to maintain condition levels up to Company’s standard.
  • Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of the District Manager.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Working Relationships: Gas Guest Service Associates, District Manager, Region Manager, VP, Company personnel, and various vendors.


Minimum Education: High School or GED

Minimum Experience: 1 year Gas station experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity

Preferred Experience: 1-2 years leadership experience Licenses/Certifications:

Soft Skills: • Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members • High energy • Ability to move from one activity to another quickly • Team oriented; willing to give extra effort to help others

Scheduling: This position is full-time) and primarily works days, however, may at times need to work a variety of hours depending on business needs (days, nights, weekends & Holidays).

Travel: 5% to attend meetings Hours & Conditions: 50 regular hours/ 10 hour work day

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk 10 hours a day; ability to lift 40 lbs., reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip and work in varying outside temperatures.
