Job description
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Furnace Operator for a company based in Columbia, TN. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for maintaining and operating various furnaces in a manufacturing environment.Pay Rate:
$15.00/hour with a $1.00/hour shift premium
Schedule and Hours:
Work 4 days on, 4 days off
Day Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Furnace Operator Duties and Responsibilities:
- Measure ingredients that go into the furnaces
- Make to monitor furnace readings and adjust accordingly
- Remove defect product as need
- Remove material from furnaces
- Must be able to stand for 12 hours per day
- Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environment
- Must be able to life 50 pounds consistently
- Background check and drug screen required
