Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.

*Please note - candidates will be hired by, work for, and paid directly by the hiring family*

We’re currently looking for a Full Time Nanny in Tarrytown (10591).

A lovely family in Tarrytown is looking for an experienced full time infant nanny for their sweet infant son. Their ideal candidate will be loving, warm, reliable, interactive & engaging, confident in their experience and willing to offer suggestions, but also open to the family’s parenting style.

  • Schedule: M-Th 8am-6pm (40 hrs/week) with some flexibility around holidays and special events
  • Start date: December 7th, but trial the week before (week of 11/28)
  • Long term - hoping for a relationship that lasts for at least the next couple of years
  • 1 child - will be 3 months old when care starts
  • Rate: $25/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • All aspects of infant care
  • Age-appropriate interaction and engagement (i.e., sensory play)
  • Bottle prep and feeding & meal prep as he transitions to solids
  • Tidying Baby’s space and keeping his environment clean & safe
  • Baby’s laundry and bottles/dishes
  • Occasionally taking the baby to activities or appointments
  • Occasionally walking the family’s small dog (he’s mostly in doggy daycare, but will occasionally be home and need walked)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Authorized to work in the US
  • 2+ years of paid, professional infant care experience
  • CPR certified or willing to become certified
  • Valid driver’s license a must - own reliable transportation a plus, but not required
  • Fully COVID vaccinated + boosted as eligible and able to provide proof - Family is fully vaccinated and current on boosters as well
  • Current on TDAP and Flu vaccinations

BENEFITS:

  • Offering a benefits package which includes vacation and paid holidays - family will discuss details directly with candidates

Compensation: Position pays $25 per hour and the family is looking for 40 hours per week long term
