The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to oversees all day-to-day operations of warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, outbound shipping, inventory, quality control, production, maintenance, and sanitation

Responsibilities

• Coordinates receiving of customers’ sales orders and accurate and timely fulfillment of same.
• Organizes order priorities, delegates work tasks to team members.
• Makes sure all orders are fulfilled by cut-off time/time agreed with customers.
• Coordinates deliveries with courier and trucking companies.
• Communicates proactively with customers and ensures shipment progress.
• Anticipates, identifies, and resolves customer and/or carrier issues before/or as they occur.
• Maintains accurate shipment files and records.
• Reviews invoices ready to be sent to customers when billing cycle ends.
• Resolves internal and operation problems on a diligent and business efficient manner in order to prevent service deficiencies and/or customers' dissatisfaction
• Improves on an ongoing basis internal systems and procedures in order to favor customer service and department internal efficiency.
• Prepares and presents operational reports as required by management.
• Provides management with timely reviews of department operational status and progress.
• Trains, supervises, motivates, and develops team members; manages schedules and workflow.
• Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinate team members; actively works to promote and recognize performance.
• Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
• Assists with special projects as required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent, four to six years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Solid knowledge of supply chain and freight forwarding industry.
• Exceptional customer service during the work all time.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Proven leadership and business acumen skills
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
