Splurge Bakery has an opening for an experienced Front of House team member to welcome our discerning customers to our store, help them with their orders and even work with them to design specialty cakes and desserts for their special events.

Splurge Bakery is a family-owned, custom bakery established in 2006. Our commitment to baking only top-quality products is why we bake everything from scratch using only the finest ingredients.

Our ideal candidate is a confident, customer-focused representative who has a friendly and out-going demeanor, excellent organizational and communication skills, and attention to detail focused on increasing sales and promoting customer loyalty.

Minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer sales role and ideally experience in party planning. Creativity a plus!

Essential Job Functions:

Answer phone in a pleasant and respectful manner;

Maintaining a professional sales environment;

Work creatively and patiently with our clients on their specialty cake and dessert orders;

Ensure accuracy of all orders;

Communicate orders to our production department, including our bakers and cake decorators;

Keep track of e-commerce orders;

Organize and assist in-person pick-up and organizing deliveries; and

Create a positive, customer-focused front of house experience.

Qualifications/Skills:

Excellent communication skills;

Excellent multi-tasking skills;

Must be detail-oriented;

Willingness to adapt and learn;

Thrive in a team environment; and

Familiarity with custom baked goods.

Experience:

Customer Service: 1-year minimum (Required)

Party Planning: Ideally 1-year minimum

Store Hours: 9 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday; 9 am - 2 pm Saturday.

We pride ourselves in producing desserts of the highest quality baked from scratch while using only the finest ingredients. Not only does Splurge Bakery offer delicious baked items, but we also host birthday parties, special events, and serve a discerning corporate clientele.

We currently have a creative, talented team of bakers, decorators, and front-of-house staff, and are looking for one more person who wants to be part of our growing team!

Pay: Hourly, $33,000-$50,000 per year depending on experience and number of hours worked.
