GENERAL SUMMARY
SplashDayz is looking for outgoing, friendly, customer focused people to help create a fun experience in our water park.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Welcome and greet all Guests, provide superb customer service in a fast-paced and high-volume environment;
• Coach, teach and support seasonal team with operational responsibilities;
• Mentor all front gate team members to achieve their goals through positive communication, encouragement and coaching;
• Coordinate employee breaks so the work flow is not interrupted
• Identify, coordinate and conduct front gate training and continuous on the job training with organization and attention to detail;
• Oversee departmental scheduling;
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) cash registers, receive money and return accurate change to customers;
• Resolve and troubleshoot computer issues for POS system;
• Responsible for receiving tickets and end of day count of tickets;
• Complete end of day cashier paperwork;
• Investigate all over/short report;
• Understand park policy and the Season Pass program in order to answer questions from Guests;
• Perform clean-up duties of all kind beginning, during and end of shift;
• Address Guest concerns as they arise;
• Display a calm and attentive approach in solving problems and handling difficult situations:
• Initiate emergency procedure when necessary;
• Conduct audits to measure department success;
• Work cohesively with other departments within the park to provide departmental support upon request;
• Search bags and coolers per park policy;
• Clock in and out each day to receive correct pay; approve time daily in payroll system;
• Communicate appropriate information to the General Manager on a timely basis; and
• Other duties as assigned, including shifting to various locations within the park.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 or older;
• Work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends and holidays;
• Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time in direct and indirect sunlight;
• Proven ability to lead by example regarding grooming, safety, cleanliness, and appropriate conduct at all times;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Have a professional, energetic, positive and motivational attitude at all times;
• Comfortable working with and interacting with guests;
• Ability to stand, walk, run, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel and lift up to forty pounds occasionally;
• Work within a team environment to accomplish common goals;
• Must be able to perform effectively in a supervisory capacity;
• Have a good grasp of reading, writing, and math; and
• Work indoors and outdoors
