Esthetician and sugaringLA founder/CEO, Danielle Correia had her first sugaring experience in 2005. She absolutely fell in love with the clean simplicity of organic sugaring paste, and the incomparable hair removal and exfoliation it provides to every body.

After Danielle pioneered what clients worldwide agree is the best hair removal technique in the industry, she wanted to strategically build a small, but solid foundation for the company in just a few key markets in Southern California. During the last ten years, sugaringLA has educated and inspired their team of hair removal specialists ("sugarists") to become experts.

sugaringLA has 5 locations in Southern California that serve as the company flagship studios. Our headquarters is located in Carlsbad, with our Los Angeles focus centered on Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Santa Monica and Manhattan Beach. In Spring of 2022, sugaringLA will begin supporting new franchise partners in US markets! We've also launched an 8 product, 'clean beauty' hair removal and skin care line that will be carried by big retail partners, one of our first being Free People!

sugaringLA is hiring a Front Desk Coordinator! You must LOVE customer service and pride yourself in being that personality who welcomes clients with radiant kindness and professionalism. This is an essential role as you'll be the first point of contact in our studio, which puts you at the heart of our client experience. The ideal Front Desk Coordinator is organized, follows efficient procedures and implementations, and has a passion for exemplary customer service. This position is perfect for someone who has a crush on organic beauty and has a love for a fun studio atmosphere, is ambitious and wants to succeed. There is much room for growth so we are looking for someone who wants to make a career with sugaringLA, as there are exciting things ahead!

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Taking pride in being the face our clients see when they come in for their appointments
- Having a friendly and smart demeanor when greeting, booking appointments and checking clients out
- Opening/Closing the studio
- Comfortable with using Mindbody and Google Drive
- Keeping inventory and ordering retail products and supplies
- Making sure the studio is clean and presentable (swept, mopped, organized, etc)
- Overseeing responsibilities of sugarists (cleaning, picking up towels, etc)
- Oversee projects and responsibilities assigned to you by Studio Coordinator.

Requirements:

- Must be able to work weekdays/weekends.

- Looking for 1 coordinator to work roughly 3-4 days a week, 15-20 hours per week.

- 2+ years in Customer Service (Spa/Salon reception is a plus)

-MindBody booking software experience required

- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to multi-task and stay organized.

- Ability to problem-solve with a keen attention to detail

- Proactive in seeing what needs to get done and doing it.
