Job description
TownePlace Suites by Marriott of Ames is currently hiring Part-Time Front Desk Associates from 7a-3p and 3p-11p. Positions are available immediately with on-the-spot offers during interviews pending background checks.
The ideal candidate: Must be willing to go above and beyond for our guest, be positive, detail oriented, able to multi-task, self starter, and experienced in the service industry, customer service oriented and a team player. The Front Desk Agent is the bridge between all departments and must possess excellent problem resolutions skills and the ability to defuse guest situations effectively. Professionalism is a required at all times.
Shifts include: 7a-3 PM and 3-11 PM. Shifts may vary based on scheduling needs and will include weekends and holidays.
The Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand 8 hours or more
- Must be able to bend, squat and reach
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds to 50 pounds
