Front Desk and Scheduling – Clinic Operatons
Responsibilities include:
- Checking in clients for surgery and exams etc.
- Must be friendly and comfortable around animals
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment
- Experience in scheduling appointments
- Recording messages for doctors and staff
- Inputting data into medical record system
- Reviewing invoices
- Receiving and recording payments via cash or credit cards
- Running end of day transactions
- Check clinic email, fax and phone messages
- Dispensing medications and prescriptions
- Greeting clients and answering phones
- Clean common reception areas
- Willing to be trained in basic veterinary assistant duties
- Be able to multi task in a high volume environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Accuracy with details, self-initiative, prioritization skills
- Excellent communication skill and great people skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing needs.
Experience:
- 2+ years in an administrative and or front desk role in a medical setting
Salary: $15-$18 - DOE
Work Schedule: 30/40 hours – 4/5 days per week, some flexibility with hours is a necessity.
Education:
- High School Graduate with some college coursework completed (Preferred)
