Sofo Foods is currently looking to add a qualified and experienced warehouse team member to our Suwanee GA Distribution Center.
Full-time
- 1st shift – Monday – Friday; occasional weekends required.
- Shift will start at 7:00 am and will range from 8 – 12 hours per shift.
- Level of Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse, preferably foodservice related.
- Receive in product and put away in proper racking slot. This will include: dry, cooler and freezer.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent work attendance
- Ability to pass a criminal and employment background.
- Ability to pass a drug
- Ability to work in a moderately loud and fast paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively and safely with colleagues and team members to complete assigned tasks.
- Physical activity to include standing, walking up to 8 – 12 hours with scheduled breaks.
- Ability to function in a multi-level environment, including climbing stairs, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting and pushing.
- Physical ability to lift 60 lbs. on a regular basis without assistance and heavier items on an occasional basis with power equipment.
- Ability to speak read and write English for effective communication and exhibit the ability to comprehend directions and report or convey information.
- Ability to be certified on warehouse equipment – forklifts, pallet riders, reach trucks, etc...
- 1 years of warehouse distribution
- 1 years of experience safely operating material handling equipment.
- Previous experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
