Summary:

The Forklift/Clamp truck driver position is directly responsible for the safe and orderly movement of product in a paper manufacturing facility. The forklift/clamp truck driver specializes in the use of powered industrial vehicles and WMS systems. position is directly responsible for the safe and orderly movement of product in a paper manufacturing facility. Key Accountabilities:

• Safely inspect and operate powered industrial vehicles.
• Utilize WMS systems and barcode scanners.
• Complete daily objectives at the direction of Shift Coordinator with limited supervision.
• Move product to and from production lines.
• Load and Unload Trailers.
• Accurately pick, move, and count product.
• Inspect, count, and reconcile product.
• Adhere to all facility safety, operational, and quality SOPs.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 1+ year(s) experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1+ year(s) experience using barcode scanning and WMS systems.
• 1+ year(s) experience utilizing sit down forklifts and clamp trucks.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Good conflict resolution skills.
• Run, maneuver, navigate, or drive vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts and passenger vehicles.
• Must be able to perform routine inspections of powered industrial equipment.
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Outlook and Office.
